Thank you for continuing to do your part during the pandemic. Let’s stay safe and healthy while we experience increased COVID-19 cases and variants in our community.

You are strongly encouraged to wear a mask indoors and where it is difficult to physically distance. It’s also important to stay up to date with both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. A fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is encouraged for everyone aged 30 years and over.

Masks

Masks are an effective way to help stop the spread from you to others, and from others to you. It’s just another simple way of staying healthy through the cooler months.

By wearing a mask you protect yourself and others. Masks provide a physical barrier against droplets and sprays that may contain germs.

Vaccinations

Vaccination is the best protection against flu and COVID-19. Based on the most recent medical advice, you can receive both vaccines on the same day.

Healthy hygiene habits

Washing our hands, testing and staying home while unwell are good habits to keep up through the cooler months to help us all stay healthy.

Wash your hands

Something as simple as washing your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds or using hand sanitiser regularly can help reduce the spread of germs.

Wipe down surfaces

Don’t pass on or pick up germs! Wipe down shared surfaces such as shopping trolley bars, gym equipment and toys.

Waiting for your coffee? At the shops? Where possible, maintain a physical distance from others.

Have the sniffles, a cough or just not feeling tip-top? Stay home so others don't catch what you have. If you have COVID-19 symptoms take a test.

With the cooler weather it's easy to stay indoors and indulge. Try and eat healthy foods, drink more water, do exercise and stay warm to help reduce your likelihood of getting sick.
